I'm not quite sure of what you mean. PPP is PPP, regardless of the OS.

My site consists of a 32-node IP block. The machine serving as my gateway,
mailserver, and primary WWW server runs only FreeBSD, and connects to
Erol's (my ISP) via a 28.8 dialup line to a dedicated port. The connection
is PPP. Eventually I'll upgrade to ISDN or something bigger, but for now,
this is it.

In any case, if your ISP expects dial-up access using PPP, they won't care
what Operating System you're using -- only that you use the right
protocols.
