The charter for this newsgroup is included below. For the vote to pass, there must be 100 more "Yes" votes than "No" votes, and 2/3 of the total votes must be "Yes" Charter ------- The newsgroup comp.windows.x.i386unix is intended for discussions about XFree86, the enhancement package for X11R5 on Intel-based Unix, and for discussions of commercial implementations of the X Window System from OS vendors and third parties. Areas for discussion include: 1) Frequently Asked Questions - including archive location and retrieval, configuration, and email addresses for developer contacts. Vendor contact information will also be listed. 2) Announcements of new and upcoming releases, including calls for beta-testers.
