I'm trying to get Amancio's port of Linux's 8514 X server
to work, but have run into a problem and was hoping that
perhaps someone else could help. Amancio can't try it
out because he doesn't have an 8514 card, and I don't
have X sources installed yet.

I've gotten the server up and running, but it won't work
with my logitech serial mouse. If I switch to a microsoft
serial mouse, and modify the Xconfig file accordingly, it
works fine.

With the logitech mouse, movement of the cursor is flaky --
sometimes when I move the mouse nothing happens, while other
times the cursor will jump halfway across the screen after
only a minor movement. Also, X seems to think that the mouse
buttons are depressed even when they aren't.

If anyone thinks they can help, I can provide my Xconfig file.

Thanks,
  Dave Paoletti :)
