Are you planning to leave your system online constantly, or do you just 
want it to dial up when you try to access your ISP?

My site is always up (barring line drops and such), so I use pppd. If you 
want your system to operate only on demand, you should probably use 
iijppp instead. Either way, read the Handbook sections on PPP and check 
the sample files in /etc/ppp. You should also try man pppd. There's 
enough material here to cover most contingencies, I think.
