Makela, intelligent disassembler to handle some 386 instructions. However this disassembler got lost during absolute jumps but I'm trying to weigh in possibilities of accommodating these absolute jumps. I only support the 386 commands used by William Jolitz's boot block code. I may miss some other 386 commands and the 16/32 bit modes are not correctly handled. The word prefix is done but not sure how it actually works. The best way is to test it on real binaries and compare it with the sources. Is there a better 386 assemblers around for public distribution? If anyone wants these interim code, please e-mail me? Hopefully not too many. -- Othman bin Ahmad, School of EEE, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore 2263. Internet Email: eoahmad@ntuix.ntu.ac.sg Bitnet Email: eoahmad@ntuvax.bitnet
