Just today I downloaded NetBSD for the first time. I am trying to run it on my SE/30. The SE/30 has
8mb of ram, and a 340mb Seagate Drive, along with an Asante 10baseT network card. Is this all compatable?
Anyways, I downloaded all of the sets, all eight. I un-gzipped them, and put them all in a directory with the
installer, and the formatter. My drive is formatted by HDT, and uses HDT's driver. I made a new partition,
one swap, and one A/UX root. I ran NetBSD's formatter, and then I installed the base package. Then I set up
the devices, then I installed the other packages. Order doesn't matter for these, does it?
Anyways, I set up the booter, which is in a directory of it's own from the desktop, to boot of the
correct partition number, with the correct name. And the correct kernel name.
When I save the config, quit, and re-start, and then I try to boot, it gives me this error:
		Error on SCSIselect ( ), # 2
What the heck does this mean? Please help me before I go crazy...
I would prefer e-mail to arrkerr@chs-web.umdl.umich.edu rather than a post because it is easier to
check. Thank you very much for the help.
