I've read several chapters (mostly for architectural reference while
hacking on NetBSD;  "Now, why did they do it this way?"), and found it
to be well written, and very useful.  It's also been great idle-time
reading (i.e. while on a plane, etc.).

In short, I'd recommend the book :-)
