OK.
Whatever binaries are on export I am almost sure that nothing will run on
386BSD, yet. They are all using the 386-ABI (Application Binary Interface)
which is not included in 386BSD, yet. I don't know whether it will ever be
included.

gs241 as distributed with 386bsd does not include support for X, of course.
However, I compiled it and it seems to work OK for me and the XFree86
monoserver. I didn't test it, yet, with the colour server. But I think
that is not much difference for gs241.

FWIW, I will try to upload it to a ftp-server in Switzerland. If I succeed in
getting the OK from the sys-op, I will tell you where it is.
Finally, I got the chance to put something up for anon-ftp !

Oh yes, this version of gs will include the devices for epson-printers,
....fax (I am using the netfax-3.2.1 package, yes on 386BSD !) and X11.
Maybe it includes the driver for the HP-Laserjet, too, but I wouldn't count
on it. The latest version of gs (2.5.2) is out which should fix the
problems with the laser-jet drivers.

Hope this helps,

Norbert.
