It's supported in FreeBSD-current, and now also in -stable (thus in
2.1.5), but for the latter, only CD-R devices that identify itself as
``WORM'' are supported. Unfortunately, the popular HP 4020i lies
about itself and claims to be a CD-ROM. (-current has a method for a
``type override'', but -stable doesn't have it.)

I consider it ``good beta quality'', i.e. you have to live with a few
rough edges still, but could use it for low-volume production even.
