MCI's network may be the spiffy 155MB throughout, but if you are on MCInet and want to talk to a site who isn't, or aren't on MCInet and want to talk to a site which is then you have to suffer the problems of congested interconnections: their MAE-East connection is always overloaded and the others aren't in a very good position either.
