I been trying (unsucessfully) for the past week or so to get an Ethernet connection
working with FreeBSD. I am using NE2000 adapters, which are recognised correctly etc,
but I don't know what I need to put in the /etc/hosts and /etc/sysconfig files to get it
to function. What I want to be able to do is browse the web etc from my other computer
running Win95.

Could somebody possible tell me what I need to do to get it working. I don't have the
proper IP numbers yet, so could somebody give me examples using fake numbers that would
function over a local system. Also what IP numbers etc to enter in the Win95 networking
stuff?

Any help would be much appreciated.

thanks,
Roger
