I am using the boot floppy that I used to install onto my Desktop, I retested it and is seems fine. The Compaq has translating BIOS for the 720M harddrive. I have tried turning translation off with no affect. SIMPTONS: Machine boots to the "Boot:" prompt and the floppy keeps running. Key presses don't appear on the screen. CTRL+ALT+DEL does not work. I once let the floppy run for 10mins. Sugestions wanted. Thanks.
