From what I can gather from your previous message, you are not installing FreeBSD correctly. You said that you started in the bin directory, but there is nothing in the /bin directory to start an installation. As you've also stated, you are installing the 2.2-960612-SNAP, correct? Did you get the boot.flp image from /pub/FreeBSD/2.2-960612-SNAP/floppies/ directory? Did you create the boot floppy with rawrite.exe from /pub/FreeBSD/2.1.0-RELEASE/tools/ directory? Did you read the INSTALL.TXT in /pub/FreeBSD/2.2-960612-SNAP/ directory? The above directories I'm referencing are from ftp.freebsd.org.
