You could with the patch-kit.  I believe "sc" was introduced around
0.1-pk2.

I don't know what 386BSD is these days.  Last time I heard, people
were still asking had the CD been produced.  In fact, that was the
last time I heard from the *real* J.M.Jr. ;-)
