Hi!

I'm having a little difficulty connecting with pppd and chat. Using the ppp
program, and the term command inside ppp, it works ok. I've been using the
setup in the handbook as a reference. However, chat doesn't work at all. It
seems it doesn't have any contact with the modem, because no lamps are
blinking on it.

Is there a way of defining the device chat is using? For ppp, I'm using
/dev/cua00, my COM1 port on my PC (a 486-33). I'm using FreeBSD
2.1.0-released. Also, is there a way of getting more extensive logs from chat
where it explains what it is doing (apart from the -v flag)?

Regards
