 I Just got FreeBSD 2.1 installed on on my 755CD. Was able to use the standard
IDE kernel and it recognized the removable CDROM after I removed jumper S5 
(I have no idea what this jumper is, and IBM couldn't tell me. I just tried
them all...) I have not tried out the serial line yet though. What changes 
did you need to make to the source?
