NetBSD's support for Etherlink III and FastEtherlink is unified in an
elegant scheme. (No bus master mode, yet.) I think FreeBSD's support
for them can be unified as well.

I transferred NetBSD's ep driver into FreeBSD and named it nep. It was
for the internal test of the 3C589 PCMCIA Etherlink III, and I
integrated it into ep (see ep of FreeBSD-current), so nep is now
obsolete. Yes, it was originally for 3C589 and not for 3C590. Someone
added something to nep?
