Wonder why? ;-) So if chat is a good, probably even superior, tool to do this: a) why is there no sample section in the Handbook like there is for Kermit? I'm only using Kermit because the scripts were available. b) does someone have a working script+instructions they'd be willing to post? I've looked at the documentation for chat and it is, well, feeble. Kermit may be clumsy, but I can hack the dial script _without_ looking at other documentation. Thanks. <
