Larry, you are bordering on insulting. Actually, you need to see what
you look like. Firstly, we have shown that you have made biased
conclusions from results. Secondly, you are downplaying the efforts
of others. I really don't think that you are qualified to present
ANY kind of benchmark results with ANY sort of conclusions because
of your obvious disdain and bias. In fact, I would be embarrassed
to present anything in public if I was you. At least I am being
consistant and publically represent myself as a FreeBSD person.

Over and over, I have said that your benchmark suite is useful, but
your credibility on interpreting results is nearly ZERO. Your interest
in Linux is well known, and I am sorry that the GPL had kept me from
accepting the recrutment onto the Linux team a few months ago. Linux
does need help from good people, but this no-load latency fiasco (with
the total lack of integrity of parties on presenting results), and the
misinterpretation of results during USENIX makes me feel as though I
would not be working with professional peers, but with lieing children.

Notice how important I was when I was asked to help on Linux? and now
you try to put me and my efforts down?

For the people in the peanut gallery, there are alot of things that
go on in the background, but I have been standing firm on two issues:
INTEGRITY and the fact that GPL encumberance causes alot of people severe
problems.

John

PS. Larry, thanks for the call!!! I wasn't interested... Especially
in GPLed software.
