You know that perfectly well. In fact you've repeated that paticular pile
of bullshit repeatedly

1.	At the time Linux needed networking the BSD folks were all rather
	busy with a little lawsuit with AT&T and BSD code was best assumed
	contaminated

2.	The GPL and BSD licenses (the traditional one with documentation
	and advertising credit) clash

Given the choice I'd have taken the BSD code GPL'd it and un mbuf'd it. It
would have saved me 18 months work and gone about as fast when we'd finished
reconstructing it.
