The motherboards has a built in Adaptec AIC-78x0 Fast SCSI-2 Controller. I know FreeBSD supports the AIC-7850 Fast SCSI-2 Controller, but will this driver also support the AIC-7880 Fast-Wide SCSI-2 Controller? Also, which SCSI controller would give me the best performance the Fast SCSI-2 or the Fast Wide SCSI-2? The motherboards I found are from CDM Distributors ( http://www.iquest.net/cdm ). Has Anyone had any problems running FreeBSD on these motherboards? Pro-Tech JBP55S w/Built in Adaptec AIC-7850 (AHA2940 equiv.)
