Yes, you did forget.

Those from 2.2-SNAPs after April 7.  Those from FreeBSD 2.1.5.

They allow for an arbitrary mapping between BIOS disk IDs and FreeBSD
devices.  I think you can say then:

	2:sd(0,a)/kernel

in your case.  (2 is the BIOS ID of your disk.)

Simply try booting your system from one of the newer boot floppies to
see whether it will work.
