I totally disagree.  Absense of a FAQ causes, at worst, speculation and
confusion.  An outdated FAQ is tantamount to misinformation as it causes
people to accept things as fact which may no longer be true.  I'd prefer 
a user to still be asking questions rather than settle for answers which
are bogus.
