I'm running FreeBSD 2.1-RELEASE and I'm having a problem getting HylaFaX
setup to run. I haven't found much in the way of helpful documentation in
setting up the FreeBSD package, so if anyone has any pointers...

I ran the faxaddmodem util and successfully added the modem, and even
tested it prior and after with cu. The FIFO file in /var/spool/fax I had
to create my self (mkfifo FIFO) because faxq couldn't create it itself.

When I do a faxstat, I get the following:

Tango> faxstat
Server on localhost:FIFO for all modems: Not running.

If I try to start faxd.recv by hand, I get this in //var/log/messages:

[trunc]faxd.recv[25342]: setsockopt (SO_LINGER): Socket operation on non-socket
[trunc]faxd.recv[25342]: getsockname: Socket operation on non-socket

All forms of help will be greatly welcomed!
