i dont know if it was only me who understood the john's posting the
way he wanted it... but to me it has been clear all the way that
anything running "nice and smooth" by some more or less artificial
program is, as the borg would say, 'irrelevant'.

notice here that i am not suggesting that the benchmark program itself
would not manage to do the task its creator wanted, i am sure it does
exactly that...

but i am saying here, if it wasnt obvious to someone, that i myself tend
to use my machine for something complitely different than measuring
its _potential_... sure, ofcourse anyone willing to do that is
free to run whatever they want to...

furthermore, if we really do need to compare, i would _love_ to hear
someone running similar system than what freebsd.org is with linux, now,
_THAT_ would tell me more about what the thing is capable of and what it's
not...

anyone voluntaring? linus? i do admit assuming no one yet does...

i do not want to accuse anyone from doing anything, but all i have to
say is that i _do_ know the length of my dick without measuring it
all the time, and i have to say i'm perfectly satisfied to the length.
sure, it is only logical to assume someone posses a longer one, it
doesnt make me feel any less secure.
