Is it possible to use a >crash file like L*n*x does? You could try adding another swap-device, but it probably only works on the first swap partition. on reboot savecore will save the swapcore in a file usually in /var/crash so you'll need enough space there too. You could tar up your filesystems and change the swap size, this should work without ruinning / since / is usually the first partition and swap is the next. (remember to copy the editor and all needed files to / first and try the editor after unmounting the other filesystems. Cheerio -- The cost of living hasn't affected it's popularity.
