Switch for a *good* reason like "what's FreeBSD like" or "I can only understand /etc/ttys - not inittab". It would be a terrible shame if you switched to FreeBSD and became "disgruntled" here too. There's no FAQ (although people are discussing this). If you read the Linux groups, you should know that "Linux is better". If you read the FreeBSD groups, you should know that "FreeBSD is better". If you read enough of either you should know that if FreeBSD/Linux does it and it's worth while, the other will do it too eventually. So, which to *you* prefer.
