I have one problem with user ppp. The 'term' command
behaves differently every other time it is used. The first
time it does not seem to send commands to the modem; it
just echoes them to the telnet window. If I exit with
'~.' and then enter 'term' a second time, it works correctly.

Any clues or suggestions, please? In all other respects,
my FreeBSD system works really well. A great piece of software!
