I have never set anything of the sort in XF86Config (unless the xf86config routine reads blanking info set in /etc/sysconfig), and yet my screen will blank promptly at the end of 2 minutes (120 sec) of inactivity, even if I am running Netscape. I'm running 2.1R at the moment; I haven't gotten 'round to upgrading to 2.1.5 as yet. :-) -- Ken Are you interested in | byte-sized education | http://www.play-hookey.com over the Internet? |
