I got a promise EIDE 2300+ controller on my machine and are trying to
install freeBSD.
After installation /who proceeds fine) the machine just freeze in the boot
moment..
As the 2300+ got its own BIOS which can be set at various addresses ive
tried them all without success, however if i disable the onboard BIOS on
it, it works fine and the machine bootsup normaly, but as it is the BIOS
who give me support to large disks (breaking the 540MB limit) i can only
use 540MB on my 3 1GB disks..No god..!!

Are there any BSD hacker who has a similar controller and solved this
problem , pleze share it with me..

/Ola
