Date: Sun, 21 Jul 1996 10:16:06 -0600 Organization: Sandia National Laboratories Lines: 24 Message-ID: <Pine.BSF.3.91.960721100733.21155B-100000@manhattan.mdl.sandia.gov> NNTP-Posting-Host: manhattan.mdl.sandia.gov Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII A friend once told me: Linux is for people who hate DOS/Win FreeBSD is for people who love UNIX I have been an avid Linux fan ever since i was trying to run the broken 0.x kernels. A BSD zealot i know suggested to me that i should try BSD, and i'd have to say that i am VERY impressed with it. However, because Linux tends to be semi-supportive to cheap hardware, i never realized just how cheap my hardware was. After reading an article in some magazine about how IDE works, i would like to get as far away from it as possible. Could anyone suggest a good SCSI controller to use under a pure BSD system?
