Both the Symbios and 2940 well, in the -current mailing list, there have been a couple of posts about ncr based controllers not always being reset properly, and hence halting on reboot. might not be a problem usually, or it might be the kind of thing that in hindsight will have been worth the extra $100. --good luck, steve
