| I'm trying to configure a system that will never have more than two
| route entries; 1) Default Route; 2) Ethernet.
|
| When FreeBSD learns about a host on the ethernet, it always adds a route
| entry for that host. I don't want it to do that.
|
| How can I turn off route cloning?

You can't. Among other things, the route entry also holds the host's Ethernet
address, which used to be in a separate ARP table.
