I am running FreeBSD 2.1.5, and there are no IRQ conflicts. In DOS, the card recognizes under irq 5, so I modified my kernel *and* /sys/i386/isa/sound/sound_config.h to irq 5, and it still does not recognize the card. I suspect I have to turn off PnP, I had to do that on my 3com 3c509 to make it work, but I don't know how to deactivate it on this card. If anyone has suggestions or experience, please send e-mail to me. ..And if this card is flat out incompatible with FreeBSD, then I will sell it. (it is in mint condition, still in the antistatic bag and has all the manuals and software, I bought it last night). Thanks very much. Jon Mah (mahj@rpi.edu)
