The guy pulled out a Wanktek 5125EN (QIC-36 interface, quarter inch drive) with a Wangtek interface card that he was selling for $70. It turns out he had a whole pile of them that they got from buying a bunch of used AT&T pc's. I have one of these at home and it runs great with one of my freebsd systems tape media is a bit more expensive than QIC-80, it does work and it's a lot cheaper than an 8mm dat drive. The 5125 is a 125MB drive by the way. Anyway if anyone is interested e-mail me and I'll send you the store info. (usual disclaimer, not affiliated with the store, no guarentees they still have them, etc) Ted tedm@agora.rdrop.com
