Btw. the diff CAN be misleading if you didn't do the proper incarnations of "make depend" or even "make clean" before deciding that a configuration worked/didn't work. If you add or remove any devices, you should always do a make depend to make sure the dependancies are right, especially if you are manipulating the sources. Btw. "make depend netbsd" does NOT work. You MUST do "make depend; make" to use the new .depend file. As soon as you add or remove any options, the only save thing --- if you don't know exactly what you are doing --- is to make clean. I suggest that you try "make clean; make" first on your current configuration. If this one does not work, try "config; make clean; make depend; make" on your last working configuration. You might discover that it wasn't working, just didn't get fully recompiled in a changed-by-option section.
