John, thank you for that tidbit of information. :) I also received a reply
via email about this same thing. :) (Unfortunately, I do not remember
the replier's address :( )

What I ended up doing was to place the 3/60 on the network here at work and
turn my SS10 into a diskless workstation boot server. When I followed the
instructions for booting the 3/60, it got it's IP correctly from RARP, and
loaded the netload program from the tftp directory, however, it then
started looking for it's IP again for it's Ethernet address.. and then hung.
So, as far as I can tell, the instructions in the install document are just
wrong, or I'm missing something somewhere...

To get the machine booted, however, what I did do is I got the SunOS 4.1.1
bootblock from someone else and had the 3/60 boot off of the network
using that file.. I also moved the netbsd-r file to vmunix.. and voila!
Everything worked.. :) I'm now the proud owner of a 3/60 running NetBSD. :)
I even have a huge 4GB drive connected to it. :P :)

In the future, however, I'm going to have the 3/60 boot from the network
and move the 4 GB drive to the SS1+ I'm hoping to get. :)
