Many many pieces of software for Unix will compile without TOO much trouble under NetBSD. Ghostscript does, XView I had some trouble with, and TeX I haven't tried (yet). Also, check the FreeBSD "ports" section, it's very helpful as it contains patches to get the software working under FreeBSD. This means it is almost a sure bet that the patched software will compile under NetBSD. -- XCOMM Kevin P. Neal, Sophomore, Comp.
