The "spams" you saw had nothing whatsoever to do with the company who's offering the daemon plushies and, if anything, that company (Liebscher & Partner) maintains a profile so low that almost no one knows they exist. The guy sending the postings was just some random jerk who probably bought ten of them and figured he could sell them at a markup to people who don't bother to read the "News flash" page at http://www.freebsd.org and don't know you can simply buy them directly from the manufacturer. -- - Jordan Hubbard President, FreeBSD Project
