The new bootblocks (FreeBSD 2.1.5, or FreeBSD-current) can handle it, you have to type 2:sd(0,a)/kernel there (boot from the third BIOS disk, which is sd0 for BSD). You can try to download the 2.1.5 installation floppy, and type the above once you have booted it.
