You can embed the login information in the URL. Read the documentation that came with your registered copy of Netscape. 8-). Otherwise, you can use Netscape's new server, which can put up HTML and act as a CGI for authentication purposes. Basically, you disallow access except through a validated cookie (just like CGI scripts for login to HTTP sites works).
