Since the 3c590 is a PCI card, the interrupt and IO address setting is
obtained by PCI means. There is no need to mention it anywhere in the
kernel config file, nor will it be displayed when booting with -c.

You didn't wrote which version you are trying to install. The 3c590
driver is considered something like beta quality, so it has not been
in the first (obsolete) version of 2.1.5R. However, since the release
notes mention it, it has finally been included in the official
version.

The driver is not working very well, to say the least. Expect all
kinds of surprises.
