Don't drown the newsgroup with replies because the sender won't see them anyway (that's like filling your neighbors' mailboxes with complaints about junk mail). 2. Email a response directly to the sender and spam his mailer, not the newsgroups (I prefer to autosend 100 emails of the US Constitution and Amendments, but I don't advocate that everyone follow suit) 3. If the post is proposes an illegal activity, such as this chain letter/pyramid scheme, send a copy to the appropriate government authorities (I sent a copy to the NC Attorney General and the US FCC).
