I don't know if that driver is present in the installation floppy, but 
you definitely have to tell FreeBSD where to find the hardware. At the 
boot: prompt type -c and then at the CONFIG> prompt type v or visual. 
From the top of the menu list type x to show all devices that FreeBSD 
will look for. Go down the list and hit <delete> for all devices you 
don't have. Correct the port address and IRQ for whatever you do have, if 
necessary.

You'll have to go through the same process when you boot the installed 
system the first time.
