Things went fine until I got to the disklabel editor (where you define the sizes of / /usr and /swap) I couldn't use the 'C' command for some reason, so I used 'A' for auto defaults. I got several errors after choosing an install set, and what it boiled down to is that FreeBSD didn't install. This might be because the disk where I have the /bin distribution is (under dos) C:\FREEBSD\BIN\ and this disk is recognized by FreeBSD as 'wd0' whereas the partition I created to install FreeBSD on is 'wd0s1' , I can't move the distribution to this since neither Dos or Windows recognizes the partition. I'm stumped. Thanks to everybody who's helped me so far.
