A friend of mine could not see any differences on a Trio64 based Spea : card. XFree is accelerated, too. Certainly, the Matrox Millenium is faster than : the Trio64 chip. Having a font server, however, is a good option, anyway. I used to use the #9 GXE 64 card with XFree. When I bought Xinside's I tried it out using the same card. My test was the FreeBSD rotating demo. The Xfree server used to annoy me with some flickers on the screen during the animation. This was not present with Xinside's. Flickers disappeared altogether. The screen is now perfect (well, with the Matrox card too). : -- : Bernd Paysan : "Late answers are wrong answers!" : http://www.informatik.tu-muenchen.de/~paysan/ -- How do you spell "relief"?
