Hi all:
what you complain of ain't gotta problem of MTOOLS. It's the stupid
fd driver. For now, it will only handle HD drives, regardless of
your CMOS (except you'd disable the floppy:-(().
I've dealt with it in making some floppy formatter work, and i decided
to redesign the whole driver. Obviously, this would take some weeks.
The goals are: a format call, automatic format detection, change line
support, quite more reliable. (If you don't believe that the current
driver is unreliable: try operating on two floppies at the same time.
Don't do this with worthful data!)
