But I really like the part in his web page where he claims a major
goal of OpenBSD is that it is "politics-free". With his listed
improvements (some actually are improvements), I might be tempted to
check out OpenBSD if there wasn't such an obvious attitude problem
   showing.

Come now... where is the attitude problem in saying
"We have fixed problems which many people have run into"?

We've fixed some stuff brought up in FreeBSD bug reports too. We also
merged a lot of fixes FreeBSD made (since their source tree is
available in RCS format, this was much easier, and we could give
credit to those who did the work in FreeBSD).

So we merge fixes from other operating systems, to improve what our
users have to use. And we give credit to those who did the work, even
if they are working in another project. I'd say our attitude is
awesome!

Come on -- fixed stuff is always good! You prefer running buggy
operating systems?

I also think that telling the world that "We have fixed this stuff" is
fine too. I see no attitude problem in that either.

And we are politics-free: we accept good changes from anyone, we try
to create dialogue with everyone, we repond quickly to bugs, and quite
often end up giving CVS commit privs to people the NetBSD project does
not give such privs to. And these people do GOOD work -- as on that
list you saw! Hacking *BSD is a hobby, and we are helping people work
on their hobby. this is a GOOD ATTITUDE.

On the other hand, I think you are just flaming.
