It appears that the SCO format is not supported, period. When I found an old tape containing a backup I restored the applications and then found out that they are a "wrong architecture" and will not run. Later I learned that it has something to do with differences between SCO's a.out executable format and FreeBSD's. It they were in COFF format, they should have run, but unfortunately, my legacy software is not in this format. For WP 5.0, I was able to "tar x" the distribution diskettes and get the installation started, but in the end got the same "wrong architecture" message: the software will not run. Good luck.
