This and quite many other benign messages are automatically answered with `y' when running fsck -p (``preening''), as it is supposed to happen at reboot time. Some more serious problems are not automatic- ally fixed and require manual intervention since they are believed to be fatal enough so the integrity of the system is in big danger. However, you can use fsck -y if you think they should also be fixed automatically.
